Proposer groups like the way we listen to their ideas and then shape a team to work with them; bringing in experts who are in tune with them

We can help you achieve higher standards of education for pupils, school and parents

OUR WORK WITH CURRENT PROPOSERS

We have been engaged by Proposers on a variety of projects. One group wanted us to help on very specific areas of the bid where they lacked expertise.  Another group identified they needed help on preparing a strategy to engage parents and young people.  Some parents were lacking in confidence in translating their ideas into a vision that would stand up to scrutiny. Another group wanted help over the phone as they went through each of the preparatory stages.  We have worked with Primary, Secondary, all through Free School and alternative provision proposer groups.

Translating your Vision into an Application

Wey has become a key partner to groups working to help translate their vision into an application, meeting parents and the community, advising on appointing Trustees, briefing them on the best 21st Century learning experience and helping them work through financial spread sheets.  We partner with a specialist organisation that helps map the local picture of deprivation and demand.   If these applications are successful Wey will be a major player in the opening and running of these schools.

Expertise in every DfE Key Area

Proposer groups like the way we listen to their ideas and then shape a team to work with them; bringing in experts who are in tune with them.  Wey’s strength is drawn from its amazingly talented consultants. They have set up schools and academies, led all through schools, developed schools with a particular link with industry, a subject specialism or an understanding of an inner city or rural location, they have a national profile in special education needs and ICT.  Wey brings expertise in every area DfE has identified as critical for free school teams and more.
