LOCAL AUTHORITY CONSULTANCY
At Wey Education we work with Local Authorities to develop bespoke governance and delivery systems for schools in their area. Our strategic approach includes a mutual model of governance.
Wey can assist and consult with Local Authorities:-
- Who want to come together and run shared services and / or running those services for them.
- Consultancy on longer term structural solutions for school improvement and specialist services.
- To convert some or all of their services into social enterprise/employee owned organisations, Wey can offer stakeholder engagement, SWOT analysis, business plans, ensuring they choose the right model; then manage the whole transfer process, including staff and governance, to completion and beyond.
- To maintain a relationship between Local Authorities, the Academies and other schools, Wey can also act as an independent broker, facilitating new governance models that could include schools, Local Authorities and other stakeholders, for example parents.
